The 4th Annual Johns Hopkins Biotech Case Competition has been a great success! In what marks the first year of the competition open to other East Coast universities, the case competition attracted over 30 teams from Hopkins, Columbia, Cornell, Duke, Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania. Ultimately, 20 teams were selected to participate.
Teams were challenged to develop strategic recommendations for a large pharmaceutical company interested in expanding into new product categories. On the event day, all teams presented their proposals and fielded questions from 15 judges from 7 top consulting firms: Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Company, Clarkston Consulting, Ernst & Young, UMT Consulting Group, ZS Associates, and L.E.K. Consulting.
The event has been reported by the Hub at Johns Hopkins. Click here to see the story.
